The Romantic Murder [A Hockey Murder Mystery] Four

“Yeah Ryan?”
“It`s time for your usual job.”
“Great, who am I calling?”
“Rico.”
“Rico who?”
“Drew`s brother.”
“Wait, you want me to call Rico Fata.?”
“Yes.”
“Oh my God, Cassie I get to call Rico.”
“Well hurry up or I`ll make someone else call him.”
“No, I`ll do it.” She got out her cell phone and called the Mellon Arena.
“Hello.” Edzo the Penguins' coach answered.
“Hi, I was wondering if I could speak to Rico Fata.”
“Who is this?”
“My name is Detective Miriya Soergel from the PDA.”
“Yeah, um I`ll get someone to go get Rico.”
“Thanks.” Edzo went out of the Pens locker room and up the runway to the boards.
“Hey Rico you got a phone call.” Rico skated over to the boards & down the runway. Before going into the locker room.
“Who is it?”
“A detective.”
“Ok.” Rico went into the locker room and picked up the phone. “Hello?”
“Hi, my name is Miriya Soergel, I`m a detective from the PDA.”
“Ok?”
“Well I`m one of your biggest fans & I`m going to do something I`m going to regret.”
“Like what?”
“Probably break your heart.”
“How?”
“By telling you something.”
“By telling me what?”
“I have some bad news.”
“What is it?” he asked now sounding a little irritated.
“Well I`m down here at the arena in Wilkes-Barre & this is going to be a shock for you, well your brother Drew, he was murdered today.”
“Oh my God.”
“I`m sorry.”
“Yeah.”
“I`ll keep you updated on everything we find out about the murder.”
“Ok.”
“Bye.”
“Bye.” Then they hung up. Miriya was about to cry.
“Mir what`s the matter?” Cassie asked.
“I was so excited that I called Rico Fata & now I realize that his brother is dead & by telling him that I broke his heart.”
“Mir it`s not your fault.”
“I know.” Just then Ryan came back in.
“Ok, Miriya did you call Rico?”
“Yeah.”
“Sadly.” Cassie added.
“What do you mean by that?”
“I mean, sadly she called.”
“Ok, why?” Ryan asked. “I thought that you were happy that you were calling Rico Fata.”
“Yeah, I was happy that I was calling him, `cause we like him, but when I was talking to him, I realized that I was breaking his heart by telling him that his little brother was murdered, doing something he loved.”
“I mean how would you feel if someone called you up & told you that Josh or Jacob was murdered?” Cassie asked.
“Well I really wouldn`t care bout Josh.”
“Oh, come on yes you would.” Miriya said.
“Ok, I would be really upset and sad.”
“That`s how Rico feels right now.”
“Ok, well you two go tell everyone that we’re done for today & the chief got us a hotel, so let’s go get some dinner & go to the hotel.”
“OK.” Miriya & Cassie said. They left the locker room & told everyone. Then they went to the van & headed to Arby`s. After they were done eating they went back to the hotel. The next morning everyone got up at seven, put on their gear and went to the arena.
